Cee & Zee Purlins

Galvanized Purlins and Girts are lightweight structural steel members, designed according to AS/NZS 4600: 1996 cold formed steel structures utilizing high strength zinc-coated steel.


  • Steelfab® Cee sections may be used in single spans, and unlapped continuous spans in multi-bay building and are ideal as eave purlins or where compact sections are required for detailing.

  • Steelfab® Zed sections may be used over single spans, unlapped and lapped continuous spans in multi-bay buildings. Lapped continuous spans result in considerable capacity increase in the system.

Material Specification

  • Steel Grade : As per IS 10748 Grade 2 or IS 1079.
  • Yield Strength : Fy 250 N/mm² and Fy 345 N/mm²
  • Base Steel Thickness : 1.50 mm to 3.20 mm
  • Surface Finish : Mill Finish * Red Oxide Primer * Pre-Galvanised ®
  • Available Length : Steelfab ‘Z’ Purlin, C Purlin & Side Girts are available in any custom transportable length upto 12 Meters and beyond.
